Piscataquis County, one of the most economically disadvantaged counties in the nation, is poised for a transformative future. With a population of just over 17,000 individuals spread across an area the size of Connecticut, Piscataquis County has the potential to thrive.
Inspired by the principle of “Pay It Forward,” the Piscataquis Forward team is dedicated to collaborating with residents, businesses, and municipalities throughout the county. Our goal is to foster a cohesive, economically robust, educationally resilient, and socially connected community that empowers individuals and promotes positive change.
